As students and members of the Millennial generation, a profound amount of our time is spent viewing screens. Whether this time is spent searching for cat videos on Youtube or just getting help with polynomials on Khan Academy, the simple fact is that we spend a lot of time online.
As summer fades into fall, some students may feel that they experienced lackluster summer vacations. But for 12 Albany High students, the summer of 2014 was life-changing. These students belong to the buildOn club, one small chapter in a national organization that raises money to build schools in developing countries.
For most people, senior year is the best part of high school.
